This statement outlines how Alexander Mann Solutions (.AMS.) stores and uses the information you provide to us, to ensure that we comply with Directive 95/46/EC on the Protection of Individuals With Regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of Such Data (the .Data Protection Directive.), with the Data Protection Act 1998 and with any other local implementations of the Data Protection Directive (together the .Data Protection Legislation.).
You can accept these Terms of Use (.Terms.) and continue with the application, or decline these Terms, in which case the application will terminate.
Any personal data provided by you may be stored on servers outside the EEA and, by providing your personal data, you are consenting to such transfer. Your personal data will be further processed (as necessary) by AMS entities within the EEA. All personal data provided by you shall be collected and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation and shall only be used by AMS for the purpose of processing your application.
By providing personal data to AMS, you are giving your express consent to AMS to process that personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Legislation, which may include passing your personal data to other AMS entities / clients outside of the EEA. We will treat all personal data as private and confidential except where we are permitted or required by law to make a disclosure or where the disclosure is made with your consent / in relation to your application.
In order to process your application and administer your contract (should your application be successful), we may need to transfer your personal data to an AMS and/or client entity outside the EEA. You hereby explicitly consent to AMS transferring, if necessary, your personal data to any AMS client or AMS entity located outside of the EEA. If your personal data is transferred to an AMS entity outside of the EEA, that AMS entity will, if there are in force local data protection laws in the country where such entity is located, comply with those local data protection laws in the processing of your personal data. However, if your personal data is transferred to an AMS entity outside the EEA where there is there is no local data protection laws or where it is at a level lower than that provided within the EEA, AMS will at all times ensure a data protection level equal to the one in the EEA.
You agree that the personal data which you provide to AMS is in all respects true and accurate and is not in any respect misleading or deceptive. You agree to inform AMS in writing if any of the information you have provided is no longer accurate during the period in which AMS retains your personal data.
AMS will retain your personal data for 24 months from the date of your application or any subsequent contact to enable us to match your details to any future suitable assignments. After 24 months period, your personal data will be removed from AMS. system. However, you may request the removal of your personal data from AMS. system prior to this by emailing rts@alexmann.com with "Remove my Details" in the subject title. Please be aware that, if you are engaged by an AMS client, AMS will hold your personal data for the length of any assignment and for as long thereafter as may be required to ensure compliance with statutory and other obligations.
AMS does not promote CV writing services or organisations; no AMS employee is authorised to recommend that a candidate use CV writing services or organisations.
If you are provided with a user id and/or password by AMS, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality thereof. You agree to immediately notify AMS of any unauthorised use of your user id and/or password. Any breach of the above may result in legal action being taken against the individual concerned. Your Account Information is password-protected for your own privacy/security. Data transmissions are protected by industry-standard SSL-encryption.
AMS may amend these Terms at any time. Any substantial changes to the way in which AMS processes personal data will be notified by posting an announcement on our website.
